Seoul based rapper/singer CAMO, born Park Chaeryeong, was born and raised in Hong Kong until moving to Korea in her early teens. She made her debut in March of 2020 with her first EP “Ice” and quickly caught attention in the industry for her strong bilingual lyricism, one of a kind tone and catchy melodic hooks.
Later that year, CAMO released her first Music Video for single “Life is Wet” featuring JMIN. The track gained recognition, which led to her being chosen as one of Korea’s top freshman rappers by HIPHOPLE, via their YouTube series ‘THE:RISE Season 3’. Her performance, along with a Co-sign from AOMG rapper Simon Dominic, propelled her career and introduced her to a wide range of both domestic and international fans. “Life is Wet” currently has over 6.6 million views on YouTube.
In 2021, CAMO successfully released her long awaited single “Wifey” featuring Simon Dominic resulting in almost 2.3 million views on YouTube. Since then, she has been featured on HYPEBEAST and Korean media powerhouse Dingo. CAMO released her most recent project ‘Fragile’ in May featuring Coogie, Leellamarz, and The Quiett.
