OFFICIAL RULES FOR CONTESTS OFFERED BY MACHALL CONCERTS and THE STUDENTS’ UNION, UNIVERSITY OF CALGARY ON FACEBOOK CONTEST SPONSOR:

From October 22, 2021 at 10:00 AM MST through to October 26, 2021 at 11:59:00 AM MST
MACHALL CONCERTS and THE STUDENTS’ UNION, UNIVERSITY OF CALGARY will award one (1) chance to win four (4) tickets to see All Time Low on November 3, 2021.
You must allow MacHall Concerts and The Students’ Union, University of Calgary access to your basic contact information in order to enter the contest.
CONTEST LIMIT: Limit one entry per person and you may only use one Facebook account (unique Facebook ID) to participate. If you attempt or are suspected of attempting to enter more than once, or use robotic, automatic, programmed or any entry methods not expressly authorized by these rules, it will be deemed as tampering and will invalidate your entry. ELIGIBILITY: To participate and to be eligible to win, you must be a resident of Alberta and who is nineteen (18) years of age or older, who meet’s MacHall Concerts and The Students’ Union, University of Calgary conditions of entry, who is not an officer, director or employee of, a member of the immediate family of, or domiciled with, an officer, director or employee of MacHall Concerts and The Students’ Union, University of Calgary.
DISPUTE: In the event of a dispute, the final decision will be at the sole discretion of MacHall Concerts and The Students’ Union, University of Calgary.
WINNER SELECTION (SUBJECT TO CONFIRMATION): Winner selection will be a random draw from qualified entries. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries.
PRIZES: MacHall Concerts and The Students’ Union, University of Calgary will award one (1) chance to win four (4) tickets to see All Time Low on November 3, 2021. Approximate value of the prize is $150 (Canadian dollars). Prize(s) must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item.
MacHall Concerts and The Students’ Union, University of Calgary reserves the right to substitute a prize that is, in their sole discretion, a prize of equivalent value.
WINNER CONFIRMATION: The selected entrant(s) will be contacted directly via email or Facebook message. The winner has until Friday, October 29 by 4:00 PM MST to contact MacHall Concerts and The Students’ Union, University of Calgary and satisfy any contest requirements, including correctly answering a mathematical skill-testing question. If a response is not received within the prescribed time, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to the alternate entrant. Selected entrant(s) may be required to execute and return by mail and/or email an Affidavit of Eligibility, General Liability Release and Consent to Publicity form within 7 days of notification or the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate entrant.
ACCEPTANCE OF PRIZE: By accepting a prize, winner(s) consents to the use of his or her name, comments and/or likeness for purposes of advertising or promotion without further compensation.
CONDUCT: All entrants agree to be bound by these Rules, and decisions of MacHall Concerts and The Students’ Union, University of Calgary. MacHall Concerts and The Students’ Union, University of Calgary in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person it finds to be in violation of these Rules. MacHall Concerts and The Students’ Union, University of Calgary is not liable if any entrant’s account is suspended by Facebook for violation of Facebook’s “Terms of Service” or “Principles”. Such suspended entrant will also be deemed to be automatically disqualified from any MacHall Concerts and The Students’ Union, University of Calgary sponsored promotion.
RESTRICTION EXEMPTIONS PROGRAM (Entry Requirements for the Show):
Please note that there are new attendance requirements in effect. Contest winner and guests must meet the requirements in order to claim the prize and attend the show.
We are opting into the Alberta Restrictions Exemption Program. This means that to attend the show, you will need both
- a mask, and;
- proof of full vaccination (double vaccinated, and the show must be a minimum of 14 days after your last vaccination shot).
Masks must be worn in indoor settings in compliance with the Province of Alberta’s requirement to mask effective September 4, 2021.
Proof of Vaccination
Proof of vaccination can be in one of four formats: hard copy vaccination papers/certificates/cards/scannable Alberta Government QR Code which must be readable/verified by the AB Covid Records Verifier; photographs of your ‘hard copy’ vaccination papers/certificate/cards; or immunization records on apps such as myhealth.alberta.ca/myhealthrecords or any other provincial, territorial, or federal app
In all cases, your name and birthdate must be clear and visible, and match your government issued photo identification. Please note: no information will be scanned, stored or shared. Apps may take several weeks to upload your immunization records, so please ensure that your chosen method is ready to use before you arrive.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: MacHall Concerts and The Students’ Union, University of Calgary is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, irregular, or misdirected entries, emails or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions or human errors that may occur. If for any reason, the contest is not capable of running as planned, or more prizes are awarded than planned, including due to a computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort, MacHall Concerts and The Students’ Union, University of Calgary may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the applicable contest. Entrants further agree to release MacHall Concerts and The Students’ Union, University of Calgary and Facebook from any liability resulting from, or related to participation in the contests or the awarding or use of any prize. MacHall Concerts and The Students’ Union, University of Calgary reserves the right to terminate or withdraw this contest at any time.
PRIVACY: Entry information collected by MacHall Concerts and The Students’ Union, University of Calgary becomes the property of MacHall Concerts and The Students’ Union, University of Calgary for its sole use and will not be shared with any outside organizations.
